Prayer for St. Charles

Lord God, Father of all mercies, look with favor on your servants here at St. Charles’ Parish, as we are a church in transition. Guide our hearts and minds as we seek a place to worship. Continue to give us a vision of hope and a future for your people. Bless us with an unwavering commitment to continue to be a light for your Glory in Kitsap County.

Knit us together, O Father, in a spirit of unity….that same unity for which Jesus prayed in His Passion. Continue to stir in us those gifts of your Holy Spirit to edify your church. Give our leaders the wisdom and knowledge to guide us to the place where you want us to serve you. We ask this all in name of Your Son, Our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Amen

Prayers in the Parish Guidelines

It is our privilege and duty to pray for

those in need especially when the situation

is current, urgent,  recent diagnosis, etc.

Lifting the persons name up at the altar

Sunday morning is very powerful in addition to having prayer daily by our prayer warriors. It is heartwarming to receive updates on the situation and very rewarding when we can move the request from Prayers to Praises.

Please keep us updated by contacting Leslie Brown at lesliejbrown@comcast.net or Joan in the office at admin@stcharlesanglican.com . Email is the preferred method because Joan and Leslie keep each other up-to-date on your requests/changes and this is the simplest/quickest  way to communicate.

Many times the situation turns chronic or long term, hence the long list of names in our current Prayers List. Updates from you are important. If we do not voluntarily receive an update from you after 4-6 weeks, Leslie will attempt to contact you for information. If communication is not successful, the name will be moved to a prayers list for the prayer warriors only thus keeping the list in the e-announcements to more current situations.
